The 2011 COTA WA Annual General Meeting will be held at the Alexander Library, Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge, on Tuesday 18 October 2011, commencing at 2pm.
The AGM will feature a keynote presentation by Dr Penny Flett, CEO of Brightwater Care Group, who will speak on creating an aged care system that serves providers, consumers and government.

The Bentley Park Show is being held at the Auditorium, 26 Plantation Drive, Bentley. This free event displays a range of art and craft exhibits from residents. There are also demonstrations, devonshire tea and a sausage sizzle.

Bendigo Bank Seniors Week 2011 is an opportunity for the community and state government to acknowledge and thank seniors for their ongoing commitment and contribution to communities and families.
The theme for this year is “Setting the Trend”, acknowledging the role our seniors have played in leading the way as role models for younger generations to follow as well as inspiring others with their ideas, innovation and dedication.

WA Dementia Training Study Centre is hosting a series of free Dementia Training Sessions for health professionals (including formal care givers, OTA's and PTA's).
