Donations

COTA (WA) is a registered charity and a Deductible Gift Recipient, so your donations not only make life a little better for seniors in need, but are also income tax deductible.

We have established a Gift Fund under our constitution, which states:

A Gift Fund, known as “Protecting Older Western Australians Gift Fund” shall be established and maintained for receipt of tax-deductible gifts. Its purpose is to provide direct relief of poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability, or helplessness to Western Australian seniors.

To make a donation, contact us via email, write to us at PO Box 866, West Perth WA 6872 or ring us on 93212133.

Bequests

Have you considered making a bequest to Council on the Ageing WA?

Your gift of a bequest will make an enormous contribution to the long term planning for Council on the Ageing WA.  Bequests are usually directed to the Council to use at its discretion.  Such unencumbered gifts allow COTA WA the flexibility to use your gift wisely in areas of particular need.

Alternatively, bequests can be directed to a specific area of the Council such as a particular program or project – active ageing services, peer educator support, publications, seniors’ services, policy and advocacy services.

By informing COTA WA about your Bequest you will allow us to thank you in your lifetime - which is our wish.  All bequest correspondence is confidential and can be directed to:
